Kuppi’s Melbourne Notes: little discoveries for curious weekends.
Christmas shopping can be more fun when it feels like a day out. Here are two November markets for browsing handmade gifts, meeting makers and enjoying something tasty along the way.
The Makers and Shakers Christmas Gift Market
Head to Seaworks Maritime Precinct in Williamstown on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026, from 10am to 4pm. The organisers say around 120 Australian makers will bring homewares, slow fashion, food and drink.
Entry is listed as $5 per adult, with children under 12 free. You can check the latest ticket details and maker lineup on the official market page.
Alliance Française Christmas Market
For a French-inspired festive weekend, visit Abbotsford Convent on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026. The programme includes artisan stalls, food, family activities and entertainment. The organiser lists Saturday hours as 10am–6pm and Sunday hours as 9:30am–4pm.
See the official event page for tickets, the programme and transport information.
A little tip for market browsing
If you are shopping for gifts, note the colours, hobbies or favourite animals your recipient loves before you go. A small detail makes it easier to choose something personal when you discover a new maker.
If festive earrings are on your list too, explore our Christmas collection online.
Information checked 27 October 2026. Please confirm dates, tickets and accessibility with organisers before travelling. Kuppi & Bear’s attendance at these events is not implied.
